They could spend forever together; they may just, since Nicole's entire future is the family business of monster hunting and Thomas doesn't know what else to do with his life.

I was able to read this book as it was being written, and I can't wait to see how it ends! The retro small-town setting is perfectly described, as well as the ominous buildup to the main plot. I highly recommend giving this a read.
